Libya Humanitarian Action
January 2024
December 2024

Through this one-year intervention, Acted aims to provide emergency aid to meet the urgent water, hygiene and sanitation (WASH) needs of vulnerable households affected by flooding in Eastern Libya, particularly in the municipality of Derna. The intervention will focus on rebuilding water, hygiene and sanitation infrastructure for 500 people (Activity 1). At the same time, Acted plans to supply water to 2,500 people by tanker truck, with co-financing from the Dutch Relief Alliance and USAID/BHA (Activity 2). Acted will ensure the sustainability of the project by supporting and strengthening local authorities (Activity 3).
