ACTED, present in Ukraine since 2015, mobilizes its teams, its French partners and its local partners to bring humanitarian aid to hundreds of thousands of people in the country and at its borders. In addition to our presence in Ukraine, our teams are present with refugees in Poland, Romania and Moldova.

ACTED in Ukraine

ACTED has been present in Ukraine since 2015 to respond to the urgent and long-term needs of vulnerable, marginalised and conflict-affected populations living along the Line of Contact in Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts. Over the past two years, ACTED has expanded its operations to Kharkiv, Kherson and the Sea of Azov region.

In 2021, ACTED has successfully implemented a dozen projects for a total portfolio of €14 million thanks to the commitment of its 150 field staff and the support of its international partners.

Since the outbreak of the conflict in the rest of the country on February 24, 2022, ACTED has intensified its activities to support people affected in the conflict areas, IDPs and evacuees across Ukraine, as well as refugee populations in neighbouring countries in Central Europe.
