Yes, Acted offers a range of internships within its field missions. High risk countries however, are exempt from hosting interns. Please see our open vacancies page for the current open opportunities.

Yes, we accept spontaneous applications in addition to applications for specific positions.

You can apply directly online to all positions advertised on Acted’s website. Your application will be reviewed thoroughly in a timely manner.

We also take applications by email to be sent to jobs@acted.org with the Acted position reference in the subject, as well as with your CV, a cover letter including 3 references and the following statement: I hereby agree to Acted terms and conditions as stated on Acted website www.acted.org and I agree to the automated processing of my personal data by Acted for recruitment purposes, as well as for, HR management and administrative compliance checks in accordance with European regulations related to personal data protection.

If you submitted your application online on Acted’s website, a confirmation message will appear online.

If you submitted your application by email, you will receive a confirmation email that your application has been received.

If your profile meets the recruitment criteria you will be contacted for an interview. If you have not received any answer within 3 weeks you may consider that you have not been selected for the position.

However, if your profile is suitable for another Acted role or mission, we will keep your profile and references in our database for such a purpose only, unless you specify otherwise.

Yes, it is possible to submit more than one application at a time. However, after review by the recruitment team, you will only be considered for one of the positions.

General feedback is provided for shortlisted candidates only. We are unfortunately unable to provide all applicants with individual feedbacks given the high number of applications we receive and manage every day. But be sure that each and every applications is thoroughly processed and reviewed by Acted according to the highest HR standards and values.

When applying for a job with Acted, applicants are only required to send their full application (including CV, cover letter with 3 references) either online or by email or possibly par mail.

Acted recruitment process abides by the highest HR standards. No fees are ever requested by Acted during the recruitment process (application, interview, processing, etc.). Never pay any fee and make sure that you only consider emails from Acted HR teams coming from @acted.org or acted.recruitment.hq@gmail.com

But some job advertisements, not published by Acted, may falsely state that they are from Acted, asking candidates to pay fees. They should be considered as fraudulent, and can be reported to Acted by email at Transparency.

Acted does offer accompanied status to some salaried staff with a contract of at least 1 year, and who are either posted to a “calm” security area or the capital office in a “sensitive” security area. Accompanied status provides several benefits for the staff’s partner and/or children, including insurance for all family members, an increased luggage allowance, and one return flight to the country of residence per year/per family member.

Every international staff attends l attend an induction at HQ in Paris before being deployed to the field. This induction includes inductions from all Acted departments, in addition to a 2-day humanitarian security safety training.
