WHH is funding this 3-month project in Herat with a budget of 100,000 euros. Following the earthquakes in Herat in October, Acted will respond to the needs of the affected population through winterization and WASH activities. The aim is to distribute cash for winterization to 220 affected households, to enable them to purchase stove/bukhari and NFI kits. As for the WASH component, Acted will assess the current situation of water supply systems to carry out repairs/rehabilitation and ensure access to safe drinking water for the affected population.
