Improved access to and coordination of assessments, analysis, and information management services for humanitarian actors in crisis-affected areas of Ethiopia

Ethiopia Humanitarian coordination and information management
May 2023
April 2024

The project seeks to strengthen the analysis, assessment, and related coordination capacities of humanitarian actors to enhance the response capacity in crisis-affected areas of Ethiopia. Assessment and IM working groups will be supported, elevating their output, enabling improved strategic analysis by actors in the humanitarian response. Through IM service provision, via a humanitarian information support team (HIST), iMMAP will provide timely, needs based support, open to all actors. Drawing from existing data sources, addressing gaps, and in close collaboration with partners, a centralized humanitarian information platform will be developed, with an initial focus on INGO and NNGO data, to enable improved strategic and operational decision making for al actors. IMPACT Initiatives (IMPACT) will provide coordination, information management and assessment support to the humanitarian community, through its interagency initiative REACH, with in-country operational support from Acted.
