Comprehensive emergency response to communities affected by displacement, food insecurity and environmental shocks in Somalia

Somalia Humanitarian Action
March 2021
April 2024

Within the framework of this 14-month project, ACTED will identify key opportunities for sequencing, integrating and layering of humanitarian relief programs, with the aim to support vulnerable and crisis affected communities to meet their basic needs, enable absorption of shocks, and facilitate preparation for recovery. ACTED will deliver multi-purpose cash assistance, unconditional and conditional food assistance, shelter and non-food item relief, camp coordination and camp management support, and WASH relief. In tandem, humanitarian coordination, information management and assessment support will be provided to the humanitarian community by integration of IMPACT Initiatives/REACH. In total, the project will benefit 205,792 individuals and 120 humanitarian organizations.
