Support to internally displaced communities in Somalia through life-saving humanitarian services and information management

Somalia Humanitarian Action
May 2023
April 2024

This 1-year project will address the humanitarian needs of conflict and drought-affected internally displaced communities in Somalia/land through a holistic intervention based on i) improved humanitarian information management; and ii) enhanced Camp Coordination and Camp Management framework. Through this project, REACH will lead the implementation of a Multi-Sector Needs Assessment (MSNA) and improve the humanitarian coordination structure and the decision-making process of the targeted 50 organizations. ACTED will respond to the internal displacement crisis across 10 targeted districts, targeting a minimum of 70 IDP sites through a two-fold CCCM approach aligned with the HCT-endorsed integrated response framework, supporting an estimated number of 91,705 individuals.
