This 5-year project is part of the UK FCDO’s Effective Governance for Economic Development (EGED) program in Central Asia aiming to improve the effectiveness, accountability and transparency of economic policy delivery in Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.

Specifically, ACTED’s work aims to enhance capacity of civil society actors to actively demand transparent and effective economic governance, within a limited civic space.

The project will support at least 2000 individuals - including 150 civil society organizations and at least 240 journalists & media professionals - to collect, analyse, and advocate based on data and evidence.
