ACCELERATE Reform: Activating Civil society Capacity to Enhance Labor and Employment Rights for vulnerable citizens and to Advance Transformative Economic Reform

ACCELERATE Reform project’s aims to strengthen the capacity of CSOs to advocate for the rights and opportunities of women and other vulnerable groups in the field of employment in Uzbekistan. The action consists of three interlinked components designed to enhance the capacity, engagement and overall presence of CSOs in the field of advocacy for employment. First, ACTED will work to improve the organizational capacity of CSOs to effectively advocate for and raise awareness of labor rights for women and other vulnerable groups (Result 1). Building on the groundwork set by improved organizational capacity, ACTED will facilitate and oversee a series of activities that foster the active engagement and advocacy by CSOs in the field of labor rights (Result 2). Finally, ACTED will increase CSOs engagement with the private sector in the fields of labor rights and employment (Result 3).
