Rapid WASH and CASH response for flood victims in Grande Anse

Haiti Humanitarian Action
December 2023
January 2024

This project is a basic multisectoral response, the main aim of which is to improve living conditions in the very short term for people affected by tropical depression #22, which hit Haiti, and in particular the Grande Anse region, on 16 and 17 November 2023. Three main activities are planned:
- An unconditional cash component, which will provide emergency support to people already suffering from severe food insecurity.
- A WASH component that will guarantee improved access to drinking water and provide a response to the cholera epidemic.
- Awareness-raising campaigns on protection issues, as well as a referral system for cases of violence, will be put in place.
