Bangladesh Inclusive Economic Opportunities
May 2022
December 2022

This 8-month project aims to address the two problems in 11 Rohingya refugee camps in Cox’s Bazar: 1) protection of camp residents from the adverse effects of environmental degradation and natural disasters through a wide scope of disaster risk reduction (DRR) activities; 2) support vulnerable refugees to meet their basic needs through a cash-for-work modality. Approximately 15,000 cash-for-workers will be mobilized to work on a variety of DRR schemes including site improvements, accessibility improvements, drainage improvement/maintenance, and community tree planting/maintenance.
