This 8-and-a-half-month project has the overall objective of improving the health of vulnerable Filipino communities who have limited access to basic services and are at high risk from the impact of climate change. Targeting Surigao del Norte provinces, the project will improve access to sanitation facilities and increase awareness of hygiene practices for 3 schools and 3 day care centres. In parallel, access to nutritious food will be improved by supporting the establishment of back yard gardens in 3 schools and for 10 women from indigenous communities. Approximately 414 individuals will directly benefit from the project.
