Under this 12-month project, Acted, the Estonian Refugee Council (ERC) and IMPACT Initiatives are implementing a highly targeted, rural/peri-urban- and frontline-focused joint humanitarian programme to meet the needs of the most vulnerable conflict-affected populations in conflict-affected, frontline and newly-liberated areas of Ukraine.
Through the delivery of emergency and rapid multi-purpose cash (MPC) assistance, emergency livelihoods grants, shelter assistance, and support to Humanitarian Coordination, Acted, ERC and IMPACT will support vulnerable households to meet their basic needs in a flexible manner. Acted and ERC’s MPC assistance continues to provide a critical lifeline to households suddenly impacted by bombardment, shelling and displacement. At the same time, Acted and ERC’s emergency livelihoods assistance provides conflict-affected households with longer-term support to meet their basic needs, supporting the economic recovery of conflict-affected locations. Responding to the in-kind and winterisation needs of frontline communities, Acted also delivers critical shelter assistance including emergency shelter kits and solid fuel.
