Rehabilitation of medical institutions in the Chernihivska Oblast

Ukraine Rehabilitation and Recovery
January 2025
January 2026

During this 12-month project, Acted will support the rehabilitation of healthcare facilities in Ukraine's Chernihiv Oblast, a conflict-affected region. The project targets two key medical institutions : Chernihiv Regional Hospital (its laboratory serves 26 medical departments and conducts over 100 types of analyses) and Novhorod-Siverska Central City Hospital (the only emergency medical facility serving its border community, which is under constant shelling). The intervention aims to improve access to healthcare services through non-structural repairs to infrastructure, rehabilitation of sanitary facilities, and sustainable energy solutions to enhance energy resilience and operational capacity
