Multi-Sectoral Humanitarian Response and Support to Essential Services in Frontline and Hard-to-Reach Communities in Kharkivska

Over 12 months, Acted and its local partners will deliver a coordinated multi-sectoral humanitarian response in five war-affected districts  of Kharkivska oblast: Bohodukhivskyi, Chuhuivskyi, Iziumskyi, Kharkivskyi, and Kupianskyi. Through Multipurpose Cash Assistance (MPCA), protection services, shelter and NFI assistance, and WASH support, the project will address urgent needs caused by ongoing hostilities and limited access to essential services in frontline and hard-to-reach communities. Interventions will include cash and in-kind assistance, emergency shelter support, WASH infrastructure rehabilitation, and individualized protection services for people at heightened risk. Implemented in partnership with local Civil Society Organisations “Responsible Citizen” and “Volunteer-68”, the project will also strengthen the capacity of local actors to provide high-quality humanitarian aid in lign with its standards and principles . In total, 12,925 individuals will benefit from the intervention, with priority given to people with disabilities, older persons, and individuals with reduced mobility.
