Through this 6-month intervention, supported by the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund, Acted and its two local partners will provide integrated critical cash assistance and protection support to severely conflict-affected and frontline communities across Chernihivska, Sumska, Kharkivska, Dnipropetrovska, Zaporizka, Donetska, Mykolaivska, and Khersonska regions.
Acted, in partnership with New Dawn, will implement a unified cash transfers (UCT) response targeting 60,350 individuals (approximately 28,738 households), in line with the Cash Working Group’s (CWG) methodology and technical guidance. Through cash assistance, beneficiaries will be able to address their most urgent needs while supporting local market recovery.
To complement cash assistance, Light of Hope will deliver integrated protection services to 1,000 individuals, including at least 250 Acted cash beneficiaries. This will include legal support, particularly on housing, land and property (HLP) issues, and administrative assistance for 750 individuals, as well as mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) for 250 vulnerable conflict-affected individuals.
Overall, the action will contribute to improving access to essential assistance and protection services for vulnerable populations, while strengthening their resilience and capacity to cope with the ongoing impact of the conflict
