This project is part of UNDP and ACTED strategy in Libya oriented to strengthen local capacity for resilience and recovery. This 6-month project aims at providing immediate temporary employment and income for 150 vulnerable individuals, including vulnerable individuals such as IDPs, returnees, migrants, and vulnerable host community members in Ubari, Southern Libya, through a Cash for Work scheme (total of 138 unskilled and 12 skilled workers). Additional 35,000 residents of the municipality will benefit from the project. Works will include rehabilitation, maintenance and/or Solid Waste Management works and will be selected in consultation with the local communities.
