This 12,5-month project seeks to strengthen the livelihoods, social cohesion, and community resilience in the post-conflict scenario of Murzuq, southern Libya, by improving access to sustainable income generating activities and livelihoods for 60 direct beneficiaries. This will be done by implementing a Rapid Market Assessment in the targeted area, providing a climate-smart business capacity building which will include training sessions on circular economu, provide cash assistance or assets replacement to 60 vulnerable households/micro and small businesses.
The project will foster community stabilization and access to jobs and essential services, especially among IDP and returnee communities according to prioritization of vulnerabilities’ criteria, particularly in the post-conflict scenario of Murzuq. Moreover, Acted aims to conduct 4 pilot projects in circular and solidarity economy.
