Provision of critical emergency relief to conflict-affected populations in Kayah State

Myanmar Strengthening Institutions and Civil Society
July 2024
June 2025

In response to the conflict escalation and subsequent increased in displacement and humanitarian needs, under this 12-month intervention, Acted and its partners will meet the urgent needs of 6,500 direct beneficiaries through the provision of critical WASH assistance and through protection assistance which will improve the access of conflict-affected communities to life-saving protection services. To do so, Acted will strengthen the organisational and institutional capacities of its partners KNWO and KHAI, thus building the local capacity to meet local needs. The local partners will then lead on activity implementation.
