Providing assistance with water, sanitation, hygiene and food security to people affected by the conflict in Blue Nile State, Sudan

This project aims to scale-up and meet gaps in the provision of WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) and Food Security assistance to conflict-affected populations in Blue Nile state, Sudan. WASH interventions will primarily centre on rehabilitation and/or construction of water supply infrastructure, rehabilitation and/or construction of sanitation facilities, including latrines, handwashing stations and showers, and hygiene promotion activities (to be supported by Acted’s partner ISRA). Food security assistance will be delivered via an MPCA (Multi-purpose Cash Assistance) modality to an estimated 500 households.
