Central African Republic Strengthening Institutions and Civil Society
August 2024
July 2025

With the support of the Crisis and Support Center (CDCS), Acted will work on the territorial resilience of the Vougba-Balinfondo population, and to this end, with the help of its partner IMPACT Initiatives, a Local Recovery Plan will be drawn up. Analyses and maps will be produced to facilitate understanding of the territory. Local Planning and Monitoring Committees (2) will be set up and trained. At the same time, Acted will build the capacity of local authorities to enable them to play an active role in local governance and effectively defend the interests of their communities.

Finally, in parallel, research into local governance, its functioning and power dynamics will be carried out to adjust interventions and ensure the sustainability of the project.

Both local authorities and communities will be at the heart of the project.
