This 12 months project proposes to improve access to safe drinking water for 140 vulnerable drought affected HHs in Northern Kenya through the rehabilitation of strategic water assets, complemented with hygiene promotion and the training of the water management committee.
The project will specifically focus on Samburu county where household water availability remains a key challenge and the Lesuwa borehole has been identified among the priorities for rehabilitation to meet the communities' acute water needs.
