Péralta bioclimatic school complex

Niger Access to Basic Services
January 2022
October 2025

In 2022, Acted built a bioclimatic school complex, which provides a sustainable and inclusive learning environment for more than 310 children in a disadvantaged area of Niamey. The complex, which runs entirely on solar energy, was inaugurated for the 2022/2023 school year, and caters for primary and secondary school pupils. Thanks to a collaboration with the humanitarian association Leo Pour le Monde (LPLM), access to education is facilitated for pupils from the most vulnerable families through the allocation of grants and school equipment, thereby promoting social diversity and equal opportunities.
