Throughout this 4-month project, Acted will provide emergency shelter and NFI assistance to IDPs (Internally Displaced People) affected by floods in the Aljazeera Abaa site, in White Nile. Acted will reach 4,200 beneficiaries with the provision of tents and repair kits and the distribution of NFI (Non-Food Item) kits containing essential items like blankets, mattresses and cooking ustensils. Acted will also provide Disaster Risk Reduction training to enhance the capacity of beneficiaries to safeguard themselves and their shelters against future risks, contributing to the transition out of emergency assistance and ensuring the sustainability of the project’s outcomes.
