This five-month project will support individuals affected by the Arba’at Dam collapse in Port Sudan, Red Sea State. It will provide a one-time cash distribution for shelter to 750 households (4,500 individuals) in 20 flood affected villages. For those who have completely lost their homes, Acted will distribute 150 emergency shelters and offer capacity-building training on safe shelter construction. Additionally, the project will provide life-saving emergency NFI (Non-food items) kits to all 900 individuals who received the emergency shelters to address their immediate needs.
