Through these activities, Acted will establish and strengthen Coordination Camp Coordination and Camp Management (CCCM) activities across 20 IDP sites.
Through CCCM, Acted aims improve the quality of life, safety, and dignity of displaced people, improve the protection and assistance environments, in accordance with international standards, and through multi-sectoral approaches.
In order to improve the coordination mechanisms Acted will conduct service monitoring and mapping into 20 IDPs sites, will support and coordinate sites and area level meetings to identify gaps and needs in sites, and establish or support community governance structure at site level.
To strengthen the site management/monitoring, Acted will conduct site maintenance and improvement where gaps and needs are identified, through a cash for work modality with the population living in the site. In the targeted site, Acted will reinforce the communication channels between actors working in the sites and population living there (providing affected populations with reliable information on their rights, services available and how to access them).
And finally Acted will strengthen the GBV prevention and response in the targeted sites through conducting safety audits to analyze the situation for women and girls in site. Acted will also ensure that identified risks and vulnerabilities of IDPs are addressed within an enhanced referral pathway, which will be established or strengthened on a case-by-case basis.
