Niger Strengthening Institutions and Civil Society
October 2024
September 2026

This 24-month project aims to improve the living conditions of 47,786 vulnerable people (internally displaced persons, refugees and host populations) affected by food insecurity and conflict-related displacement in Tillabéry and Diffa in Niger. It is based around four main results: providing emergency food assistance to the most vulnerable communities, supporting and developing resilient farming and livestock practices, improving access to water, sanitation and hygiene to reduce the risk of water-borne diseases and epidemics, and informing the humanitarian community about the situation and humanitarian needs in Niger.
