The project supported by the CIAA will take place in the Ouaka prefecture, sub-prefectures of Kouango and Grimari. It aims to improve nutritional resilience and gender equality in households with pregnant and breastfeeding women and children under 2. Beneficiaries include 17,748 direct and 32,345 indirect beneficiaries. Specific objectives are to strengthen households' capacity to produce and consume nutritious meals, improve access to an adequate sanitary environment, and encourage men's participation in household chores while strengthening women's decision-making power.

Current projects

Improving access to water, hygiene and sanitation (WASH) in health facilities, host communities and IDP (internally displaced persons) sites in the Bakouma sub-prefecture.
