The Action will improve i) living conditions of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) focusing on recent displacement and ii) humanitarian information management across Somalia/land. Acted will reach 449,732 beneficiaries with partners IMPACT Initiatives, SADO and MCAN. Acted has streamlined resources for a broad and effective action given the HIP envelope drop. Under R1, REACH will provide humanitarian actors with evidence to plan, prioritise and implement response to multi-sectoral needs of vulnerable host communities and displaced populations. REACH will continue to engage with humanitarian coordination structures and partners to collect, analyse and incorporate data in its tools and methodologies. Under R2, IDPs will have improved access to basic services through enhanced integrated CCCM programming, coordination and referral mechanisms and basic live-saving activities in Somalia/land. With partners, Acted will roll out a comprehensive CCCM strategy, integrating a catchment-area (CA) based approach in urban settings (3 areas = 19 settlements, 85 sites) and a twophased approach in rural and peri-urban areas (34 sites). Under the 2025 MR, smooth exit will be ensured in additional 6 CAs and 11 rural/peri-urban sites with the continuation of key CCCM activities for a 2-month period. In light of the changing funding landscape, Acted and partners will also continue to deliver an essential CCCM package in 6 CAs and 15 peri-urban/rural areas for a 6-month period. A mobile team will deploy to meet the needs in urgent displacement crisis with an integrated response framework (IRF) including CCCM and WASH activities. Apart from the IRF response that will be activated once a threshold is reached, planned WASH activities include construction of water assets and latrines at community level. In combination, the proposed activities will enable Acted to address current needs and remain flexible to unforeseen shocks, with increased flexibility through a crisis modifier.
