With the support of the Crisis and Support Center (CDCS), Acted is providing emergency response in the form of NFI and Protection in the Ouaddaï Province.
This action is part of the activities to support the management and coordination of temporary sites for displaced persons, carried out by Acted in the spontaneous sites of Adré and other sites at the border with Sudan.
Acted is planning to pre-position and distribute lightweight emergency medical kits to respond to the influx of new arrivals and prevent waterborne diseases in preparation for the rainy season. This assistance will be coupled with a range of protection services in the form of sensibilisation, referrals and care, in particular through the distribution of dignity kits and improved stoves to survivors of gender-based violence.
