CSO-GO for GOVERNANCE aims to empower media and civil society in Tajikistan to uphold fundamental freedoms and democracy by improving digital capacity, access to information, and dialogue. The project focuses on strengthening the media landscape, supporting media civil society organizations and professionals, and relevant governmental actors. It seeks to promote media freedom, ensure access to information, combat disinformation, and ultimately strengthen civil society to safeguard and advance human rights and fundamental freedoms.

Project outputs:

1. Increased capacity of media CSOs, journalists and government press centre specialists in digital skills, new technologies, monitoring, and combatting disinformation;

2. Enhanced access to, accuracy, and reliability of government information and data;

3. Strengthened cooperation and partnerships between media actors and law enforcement agencies, judicial authorities, and government agencies, local government authorities promoting dialogue and freedom of media.
