1Planet4All is a three-year European project with 14 partners in 12 EU member states
1P4A aims to raise awareness among European youth about climate change as a global threat to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals and to encourage them to actively engage in concrete climate actions. ACTED implements the project activities in France, alongside its sister organization Convergences.
Launched in February 2020, the 1Planet4All project targets French youth according to three different profiles:
Three strands of action will be deployed: :
In order to support these actions, ACTED will also make the link with its projects carried out in Southern countries in favor of an inclusive and sustainable world, in accordance with the 3Zero approach: Zero Exclusion, Zero Carbon, Zero Poverty. Good practices and local initiatives will be shared to inform about climate issues around the world, to promote the proposed solutions, and to inspire local mobilizations. For this purpose, in the framework of a partnership with French journalism schools, ACTED will organize visits of these projects in Southern countries for student journalists.
Convinced that young people have a key role to play against climate change, ACTED has carried out, with the support of Ifop, a SURVEY on this topic among French people aged 15 to 35 – in order to better shed light on their knowledge, commitments and priorities, as well as the best ways to mobilize them in favor of the climate.
This survey will be completed by a second survey in the third year of the project to measure the evolution of young people’s views on this subject.
