This 8-month project, implemented by the 3ZERO House in Nairobi, aims to empower women from communities most affected by climate change to lead the development of innovative, entrepreneurial solutions to climate change adaptation, promoting diversity and inclusion in Kenya's climate entrepreneurship ecosystem. It will provide a foundational introduction to climate change, business skills, and design thinking to 200 women. 30 participants will be supported to join a Climate Hackathon and receive tailored support from mentors, and accelerate 5 women-led startups with climate solutions. The project aims to promote climate justice by empowering women from pastoralist communities—those most affected by climate change—to lead adaptation efforts and benefit economically from climate entrepreneurship.
