Kenya Cash Consortium: Locally led and Adaptive Alert-Based Multi-Purpose Cash Assistance to Disaster-Affected Communities across Kenya

The Kenya Cash Consortium (KCC), comprised of Acted, the ASAL Humanitarian Network, Oxfam, Concern Worldwide and IMPACT Initiatives, and funded by ECHO, responds to the basic needs of disaster and crisis affected communities across Kenya, with an emphasis on delivering Multipurpose Cash Assistance (MPCA) in Arid and Semi Arad Lands and refugee camps. The action targets 28,594 direct beneficiaries through its MPCA delivery in these areas. Additionally the action supports localization and coordination efforts in Kenya via technical support to coordination mechanisms and local partners, the establishment of referrals from Protection and Nutrition actors and community/stakeholder engagement.
