Video: After losing their homes to an earthquake, residents of Sulawesi, Indonesia can wait out reconstruction efforts in dignity.

In the wake of an earthquake/tsunami event which struck Sulawesi Province, Indonesia in September 2018, ACTED began supporting local Indonesian partners to lead the response. Shelter is among the priority areas of assistance given the widespread destruction of houses. As of January 2019, more than 133,000 people remain displaced across Central Sulawesi. In light of this fact, the Governor of Central Sulawesi extended the emergency transition to recovery phase in the province until 23 February 2019.
