Assemblée des Régions de France

French Regions regularly support ACTED projects in emergency, rehabilitation and development contexts.

For example, with the support of the Conseil Régional Loire Centre-Val, ACTED was able to sustainably rehabilitate a water supply system in the Dhadhing District of Nepal severely affected after the 2015 earthquake. ACTED also works closely with the Conseil Régional Ile-de-France to support minorities victims of violence in Mosul in Iraq, while Provence Alpes-Côte d’Azur Regional Council in Lebanon is a sustained partner of ACTED’s water interventions in Lebanon. Bretagne and Bourgogne Franche Comté Regional Councils proved key partners of ACTED’s emergency operations following hurricane Matthew in Haiti in 2016.

ACTED signed in May 2018 a framework agreement with the Assemblée des Régions de France (ARF) aimed at maintaining regular contact through working and the distribution of communication material, while exchanging expertise, intelligence and considering common operations.
