This 12-month project, led by Acted and MdM France, aims to respond to nutritional emergencies and improve food security for vulnerable populations in the health zones of Nyunzu, Nyemba, and Kalemie, in Tanganyika Province. The overall objective is to strengthen the management of cases of severe acute malnutrition and food insecurity for 76,056 people, including 11,525 pregnant and breastfeeding women, and 1,680 children under the age of 2, through the distribution of inputs, the reinforcement of WASH and agricultural infrastructures, and the strengthening of community capacities to combat malnutrition.
