Bangladesh is a country in constant risk of extreme weather events and natural hazards as highlighted by the “Climate Vulnerability Index” (2023). The project will be implemented from 8 January to 30 June 2024 in 11 camps in Cox’s Bazar District.
The project will contribute at the restoration of natural resources base and the support of climate-resilient local food production. The intervention foresees the realization of 21 “sub-projects” aiming at strengthening community-based environmental protection.
Direct beneficiaries of the project are the volunteers participating in “Cash for Work” activities (2,030 individuals).
