Development of Sustainable Partnerships for Vocational Trainings in Tanintharyi Region in Myanmar

This 24 month project aims to strengthen young workers’ capacities to facilitate their integration into the labour market and increase livelihood opportunities, by supporting two Government Technical High Schools in in Tanintharyi Division to organize short-term trainings tailored to the Myanmar job market. This project will target 300 vulnerable and very-vulnerable youth and 10 GTHS teachers with an addition to 150 villagers from 5 underserved villages through a pilot approach to facilitate access to VT training in rural communities. ACTED will develop the capacities of local implementing partner Art, Language and Computer Centre to ensure the continuity of the project.
