Vocational Training in Transitions (VTiT)

Thailand Sustainable and inclusive growth
January 2019
December 2020

This 24-month project builds on the successes of ACTED’s previous EU-funded VT programs equipping refugees from two camps along the Thai/Myanmar border with skills needed to access sustainable livelihoods upon return. Between 3 and 5 comprehensive VT courses will be developed to reflect current market trends in areas of return and delivered to 250 vulnerable camp residents, with an extensive internship program offering practical learning opportunities to an additional 100 participants. In addition, this project will deliver small enterprise development (SED) trainings to vulnerable refugee women, empowering them towards more sustainable and independent livelihoods.
