Uganda Collaborative and Resilient Ecosystem Management

This 1-year project aims at promoting regenerative water harvesting techniques through trainings and cash for work practical demonstrations with 100 agro-pastoral households across Nakapiripirit District/Karamoja, where ACTED currently implements an agriculture and livelihoods program. The two projects will be complementary with the Suez-funded action having a stronger focus on access to water, which is particularly relevant in view of the locust crisis and the ongoing COVID outbreak.
