Under the WFP-funded 'Unconditional Food Assistance and Nutrition Assistance in Northeast Nigeria', ACTED will deliver life-saving food assistance through Cash-Based Transfers (CBT), General Food Distributions (GFD) and Blanket Supplementary Feeding Programme (BSFP) in Monguno, Borno State. The project will run for the between the 1st October, 2019 and the 30rd September, 2020, with the objective to save lives, reduce severe food insecurity, and ensure the most vulnerable conflict-affected households have access to food assistance which meets the minimum nutritional requirements in compliance with international standards.

Life-saving CCCM, Emergency Shelter and NFI assistance for vulnerable IDP populations in formal camp sites and informal out-of-camp settlements in Borno State

Improvement of living conditions for vulnerable IDPs living in protracted displacement in GGASS camp in Mafa and Jere LGAs through the distribution of emergency shelter kits

To improve food security in the immediate, medium and long term by increasing household autonomy and resilience in Northwest Nigeria through the parallel modalities of Permaculture Design and Regenerative Agriculture using ACTED’s holistic REVIVE approach
