The overall objective is to contribute to the food security of vulnerable HHs affected by drought, COVID-19, and Locust attack through immediate unconditional cash assistance in Sindh. The project’s objective is fully in-line with WFP’s aim of providing unconditional relief assistance to the HHs affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, drought and locust, and by the recent wave of snow and flood emergencies. The objective is also fully aligned with SDG Goal 2 ‘’Zero Hunger’’ and WFP’s mandate of supporting vulnerable households by feeding the hungry poor, enhancing food security, and mainstreaming gender.
