Kenya Sustainable and inclusive growth
August 2019
January 2021

The 18-month project aims to support the transition of communities in Samburu County from drought response to self-reliance through collaborative investments aimed at understanding and reducing cyclical emergency risk. The project will build resilience against drought crisis in Samburu and support social networks in geographically and socially vulnerable communities. The intervention will target 35,148 beneficaries directly through WASH, ERMS, food security, and climate smart agriculture capacity development. Moreover, 138,000 will indirectly benefit from improved humanitarian analysis from the REACH and ACTED food and water security assessments and the strengthening of county-level Early Warning Systems (EWS).
