To contribute to food consumption of the most vulnerable HHs affected by flood and pandemic through emergency food assistance in Sindh

Pakistan Humanitarian Action
October 2020
February 2021

This four-month proposed intervention aims to meet the immediate lifesaving needs of 5300 flood and COVID-19 pandemic affected households through general food distribution programming in districts Umerkot and Mirpurkhas in Sindh province, Pakistan. This needs-based flood response is designed to support flood and pandemic affected vulnerable communities’ immediate life-saving needs. Given the scale and extent of the disaster and needs for FSL assistance for affected vulnerable communities and the gap to provide lifesaving assistance, these two districts are prioritized for this ACTED’s intervention to support vulnerable communities in meeting their life-saving needs.
