Lebanon Sustainable Infrastructure
February 2021
March 2023

During this 26-month project, ACTED will improve the water conservation environment and provide relief to vulnerable people affected by the ongoing crises in Lebanon. ACTED will train 500 Syrian and Lebanese beneficiaries (315 women, 185 men; 40% Syrian, 60% Lebanese) on installation of rainwater harvesting systems, conduction of technical assessments and raising awareness about improved water management. After the training period, the beneficiaries will conduct technical assessments and install at least 36 rainwater harvesting systems in 12 farm households and 24 public structures, as well as 7,000 water saving fixtures, enabling to conserve water in the target areas while relieving pressure on groundwater reserves..
