Supporting sustainable and inclusive agriculture in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region

This 24-month project aims to contribute to the rural development of Maguindanao province and the 63 barangays of the Special Geographical Area (SGA), in the RMBM, by focusing on improved livelihoods and empowerment of vulnerable families, sustainable and responsible agricultural productivity of cooperatives, school feeding and gender equality in the agricultural sector. First, the project will build the capacity of 20 agricultural cooperatives. Second, ACTED will financially support the development of agricultural cooperatives with at least 10 grants. Finally, the local ecosystem and the development of sustainable agriculture will be stimulated through the organization of round tables, forums and meetings. The project will target a total of 2000 people.
