Supporting food, nutrition and livelihood security of vulnerable people in the Lake Province

Chad Emergencies and disaster resilience
January 2020
December 2020

The context of insecurity in the Lake Province has contributed to numerous population displacements. IDPs in the province face recurrent difficulties in meeting their food and nutritional needs. This 12-month project therefore provides for monthly distributions of food and cash, and distributions of food inputs to 71,652 people, including 4,106 children aged 6 to 23 months, in order to strengthen the food and nutritional security of crisis-affected populations in Chad.
