Philippines Climate-Smart Agriculture
October 2019
June 2021

This 17-month project supports sustainable agriculture and growth for typhoon affected communities in Northern Luzon. It aims at increasing the earnings of 800 vulnerable farmers. The specific objectives are to diversify varieties and qualities of planted crops, shorten the crop cycle and introduce new harvests, establish nurseries, increase market value to growers by forming co-operatives, removing middleman and fulfilling farm-to-table supermarket orders, reduce smallholders' reliance on debt.
