This 2-year project aims to strengthen community-based preparedness and emergency response in the Middle Area, Khan Younis and Rafah governorates in the Gaza Strip. In total, the project will benefit 30,386 individuals through capacity-building and prepositioning of emergency non-food items (NFIs). Most notably 3000 households (HHs) comprised of 17,100 individuals will benefit from COVID-19 hygiene kits whilst a further 2000 HHs comprised of 11,400 individuals will benefit from 5,200 NFI sets that will be prepositioned in warehouses to cover emergency needs.

Supporting the shelter and NFI needs of vulnerable households in Middle Area and Khan Yunis governorates in the Gaza Strip to minimize exposure to harsh weather and protection concerns
